Parenting is not an easy task! You love your children, only want the best for them, and have probably tried a whole variety of strategies to help them. Still, your children and your whole family might be dealing with difficult emotions and challenging behaviour. Maybe, as parents, you are also re-shaping: adding new members, responding to new challenges and in need of new arrangements.
At Strong Ties, we are a team of experienced counsellors committed to help you find the strategies you need to support your children and family. We believe in creating empowering, collaborative and safe environments where children, teens and adults can grow and heal. Our therapeutic approach is warm, practical and non-judgemental.
With children we use play and expressive therapy; our play room has a variety of toys, games, and art material that kids enjoy. With teens, adults and families we do talk therapy, provide parent support and/or family counselling. In cases of separation and divorce, our Clinical Director is trained to provide co-parenting counselling and divorce coaching.
