I have 22 years of experience helping people worldwide with their various life challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger issues, etc. I view therapy as an opportunity for personal growth, not just as a means of problem-solving. Many of our issues in the present stem from messages, both explicit or implied, that we learned during childhood to protect ourselves from criticism or judgement by parents, society or peer. Through therapy, we will work together to identify and uproot these messages that are holding us back. Too often these ‘messages’ turn into beliefs that lead to unconstructive defence mechanisms and coping strategies.
I approach therapy with a desire to understand you as a unique person, your sadness, your hopes, your anger, your joys. My approach is grounded in empathy and compassion as well as theory. My approach is eclectic, using interventions as CBT, depth psychotherapy, existentialism, and art therapy as we work together for your journey towards healing and growth.
Video theray is convenient and private. Many clients tell me that they feel more comfortable speaking from the privacy of their own home. My fee is $150/$60. I offer a sliding scale as I know how expense therapy is plus if your financial situation changes, you can still continue.
