I am a registered clinical counsellor and approved clinical supervisor with extensive training and experience in working with trauma, as well as helping people with life's challenges. My experience and certifications include play therapy and EMDR. I am client-centred, believing in the importance of relationship as I walk with you during part of your life's journey. I counsel children, youth and adults.
I have extensive training in trauma work. I have play therapy certifications, primarily Expressive Play Therapy which includes sand tray work. I practice EMDR and stay current with research and learning. I meet a client where he or she is, rather than trying to fit people into a certain modality.
In a peaceful and warm setting I strive to support people who are struggling on their path, or to find a path, through what life has presented; finding strength, skills, courage, and an empathic and skilled therapist to walk with.
