The Vancouver Psychology Centre is a group of like-minded professionals here to provide evidence-based assessment, consultation and treatment to all ages who seek greater happiness and meaning in their lives. Our Psychologists, Counsellors, Art Therapists and Youth Care Workers use the science of psychology and apply it to the goals of positive emotion and connection. We highlight people's strengths and use Positive Psychology's science and techniques to maximize positive emotion, virtuous personal characteristics, fulfilment with life and to improve connection with others.
We provide a welcoming atmosphere to those who might traditionally seek psychological consultation, as well as those who might not typically enter a psychologist's office, as they are wondering if they are 'too well' to seek consultation. We offer telehealth (either telephone or secure videocall) appointments and in office appointments.
We work from a mental wellness, not mental illness perspective. Our services are highly personalized and offered in warm and inviting settings. We provide assessment and treatment across the lifespan and we have a dynamic team with diverse training and experience: Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Teen & Anxiety Treatment, Pain Mgmt ,Psychoeducational Assessment

VPC is pleased to offer an evidence-based, fun group experience to help ease anxiety in kids. In a friendly environment, this will help members to 'get' what anxiety is all about + will teach skills to overcome anxiety. Educating kids to be in charge of their thoughts with a focus on understanding the cycle of anxiety thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Mastering simple + fun Mindfulness and Cognitive-Behavioural skills to squash anxiety. Vancouver Psychology Centre is pleased to offer an evidence-based, resilience-focused group for children of families going through separation and divorce. Kids will learn strategies to better cope with family transitions and/or conflict and in a welcoming environment. This group will help kids bounce back from the changes occurring in their family. Objectives of the Group: Develop coping strategies to manage emotional and practical challenges associated with family changes. Help kids cope with family changes and learn to thrive in spite of these changes. For kids aged 7-12.
