Existence can be a struggle, especially for folks holding identities marginalized by the dominant forces in this society. In all the joyful, unnerving, enraging moments, with their coexisting complexities, we sometimes need a place to unpack our experiences. I hope to cultivate space to lay down this baggage and examine, deconstruct and make choices of how we relate to the stories we carry, to each other and to ourselves. Through work at community addictions agencies in the GTA over the last eight years, I have supported individuals and families dealing with the effects of substance use through counselling, advocacy, and care.

Through my work, I have been in solidarity with folks navigating relationships with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, family conflict, self-criticism, and identity. My practice seeks to honour folks’ resistance to trauma & oppression and cultivate momentum towards preferred futures, positioning therapy as harm reduction in the ongoing work of liberation.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with certifications in Couple & Family Therapy and Narrative Therapy. My practice operates from an anti-oppressive stance, rooted in social justice, that is collaborative, flexible and always evolving. This work is being conducted on the territories of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Huron-Wendat, Seneca & Petun Nations.
