Throughout my life, I have always felt passionate about working with people. It is my mission as your therapist for you to experience acceptance, belonging, purpose and hope - in the therapy room, but more importantly, to experience this in your outside life in significant new ways. My expertise is in helping others overcome the barriers that are holding them back from the life of their dreams. I will work with you with intent and care, increasing your awareness so that you can gain a deeper understanding of your unique needs and I can guide you to develop skills that improve your relationship with yourself and others.

As parents we sometimes feel at a loss as to how to help our child, particularly when they are experiencing difficulties in more than one area of their lives: at school, with friends, regulating emotions, academically, socially or behaviorally. My personal experience and my love for children has helped me to realize that many parents need support and I have a passion for helping children and parents navigate these challenges. It is my belief that it takes a village for total and consistent support to achieve optimum results. I can help with home and school, on what can be a. tough and confusing path.

My purpose is to assist you in facing and processing traumatic / adverse life experiences that could have resulted in anxiety, depression, PTSD, addictions, anger issues, etc. Together, we will explore and unravel the nature and roots of what prevents you from living a happier life. Despite the possible challenges that may arise on this way, please know that you have a huge potential to live your life based on what is right with you. As a clinician, I am committed to do to the best of my abilities for facilitating this process and helping you reach your goals.

As a trained trauma therapist, my approach gets to the root of your long-standing problems. Experiences of stress and trauma leave lasting impacts on the brain, body and psyche, disrupting our mood, energy, and thinking patterns. These impacts can not be undone by “talk therapy” alone. In addition to being a talk therapist, I am trained in a variety of neurobiologically-based trauma processing therapies. These techniques can release the impacts of stress and trauma, freeing you to pursue the life you want. If you’ve been feeling stuck, discouraged and overwhelmed, consider whether stress and trauma have been holding you back.

I am passionate about working with individuals, children, parents, and families. I enjoy working with children with special needs and I am drawn to working with children who have experienced loss or trauma, including fostering and adoption. I love helping parents feel equipped and empowered to connect with, and parent, their children. I also love seeing hurting relationships healed and restored with both adults & children. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where connection can flourish leading to change.

Hello! As a South Asian woman of colour, I have grown up and experienced living in a multicultural society, balancing the different identities that may come from being a child of immigrants as well as having peers of differing backgrounds. This has helped me develop a unique understanding of the experiences of those similar and different to me. I understand that our cultural upbringings, beliefs, and values may both help and hinder us in some ways as we grow into who we are today. We are made up of so many parts that make us who we are, and that is so important to understand and work with for your mental health and wellbeing.

I value the relationships that I have with my clients and aim to create a safe space where people feel that they can be themselves without fear of judgment. I look forward to hearing and connecting with my clients and their stories. I also have a passion for working with the IBPOC community, moms through pregnancy and postpartum, and youth to support and empower them.
