With over 15 years of experience, supporting individuals, couples/partnerships and groups of diverse folks, I offer a trained ear and an open heart.
Many come to me with broad range of concerns from immediate or past stressors (e.g burnout, C-PTSD), anxiety, depression, obsessions or compulsions, behavioural addictions, difficulties with attention (e.g. ADHD), cultural transitions, severe adverse experiences in early years like abuse and neglect, sexual and gender challenges, grief or loss, newcomer or immigrant experiences, and career coaching. We get to immediate tools, but we also explore roots of issues and treat the source.
I integrate Internal Family Systems (Level 1) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1). I have developed an expertise for people of colour, majority, racialized and oppressed groups. We enter into a change process at the pace of trust.
I provide Clinical Supervision (individual, dyadic and group) for RP(Q)s, RP, RSWs, etc from an IFS and SP perspective.
Living the struggle bus experience, I have overcome my own challenges in similar areas. Often sitting and talking can be good yet clients in discovering of their inner world, who are playful and approach with levity are the ones who return/move-towards their true self, even in this chaotic world.
