I am a caring and skilled therapist. I work with individuals, couples and families who are having difficulty coping with life stressors, mental health concerns, trauma, and addiction. I support people to work through relationship, work, and life challenges. Using a non-judgmental approach I support you to move forward and make difficult but positive changes in your life. Each person I support is unique and will receive individualized treatment based on needs. I value in depth assessments to ensure that your situation and needs are understood. We will work together in a way that ensures your comfort and satisfaction with therapy.
I have expertise working with mental health (anxiety, depression, psychosis, bipolar, & personality disorders). For substance abuse concerns I work from a harm reduction approach, therefore can meet you where you are (abstinence is not required to start getting help). I have experience in areas of crisis including suicidal ideation and self-harm behaviors.
I am skilled / trained in several counselling modalities including; cognitive behaviour therapy, solution focused therapy, cognitive processing and dialectical behaviour therapy. Mobile counselling may be considered to accommodate special situations such as illness, disability, and certain age groups. I can ensure you will feel comfortable in therapy.
