At Rising Tides Counselling Services, I am receiving Masters-level clinical social work supervision with a focus on providing trauma therapy. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma and are looking to heal in a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment.
My clients are often individuals who are ready to move beyond the impacts of their trauma and find new ways to cope, understand their emotions, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others. They are ready to take the courageous step of addressing and processing their pain, and learning how to live with more peace, resilience, and self-compassion.
My approach is person-centered, and I will prioritize your unique needs, perspectives, and goals. I currently use a mixture of techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while rooting my interventions in trauma-informed, strength-based, and anti-oppressive practices.
