Hi there and welcome to my profile! My name is Ashley Gobin and I am a Registered Psychologist specializing in completing assessments for children, teens, and adults. Specifically, I conduct psychoeducational assessments for students struggling academically and emerging adults entering their post-secondary careers. Additionally, I complete cognitive assessments to identify whether a student may be a gifted learner. I am also skilled in evaluating socio-emotional concerns (e.g., attention, anxiety, depression, trauma).
To me, it's important that each individualized assessment encompasses a strength-based approach, integrating empirically-based research and recommendations. I also believe that client-therapist fit is essential for therapeutic success.
I have had the opportunity of working with children, teens, families and adults for over ten years. I've worked in a variety of settings, including school-based environments, early intervention facilities, and of course, in private practice!
