About
My name is Ashley, and I am a registered psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I provide compassionate, non-judgemental support for individuals, couples, and families. In my private practice, I work with people who are experiencing a variety of challenges, including: relationship issues, stress, and difficult life transitions. I also specialize in supporting parents and/or hopeful parents through issues with infertility, pregnancy, postpartum health, and parenting. This includes parents who are supporting children with mental or physical illness, which is often associated with increased stress.
One of my biggest passions and areas of focus involves supporting those who are navigating issues of self-worth. Using compassionate approaches, I help clients learn to soften their "inner critic", recognize the impacts of high expectations and "perfectionism", and to set boundaries with themselves and others.
I believe that therapy should provide you with the opportunity to explore the meaning of your experience and develop your own goals for growth. I therefore prioritize the creation of a safe and supportive environment for all of my clients. I hope to be a part of your journey.
