I am a pre-licensed, doctoral-level clinician providing therapy to adults from diverse backgrounds for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress/burnout, OCD, and other barriers to well-being. I often support clients navigating life transitions, such as the postpartum period or becoming a caregiver for a loved one. I also specialize in health psychology, supporting clients with physical symptoms, medical conditions, and disabilities affecting their mood, relationships, or daily functioning. I aim to create a trauma-informed space where clients can approach their experiences and emotions with curiosity and compassion.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in ACT, which helps clients respond differently to difficult thoughts and feelings, make space for discomfort, and take actions guided by their personal values. I also draw from CBT, ERP, interpersonal/relational, motivational, and emotion-focused approaches to support meaningful and lasting change.
I take an intersectional lens, recognizing that factors such as race, gender, sexuality, culture, and religion can shape the challenges we face, how we experience them, and the resources available to us. I view clients as the experts in their own lives and invite them to share their experiences, goals, and other preferences to guide our work together.
