Developing and strengthening healthy bonds in couples is my specialty. I have level 3 training in the Gottman method and use this framework to assist individuals and couples in exploring issues such as conflict-prone communication, infidelity/ emotional affairs, emotional distance, frequent arguments, fighting about the same things repeatedly, feeling unheard and unseen by their partner, feeling like roommates instead of partners, lack of trust and intimacy, as well as contemplating breakup, separation or divorce. I also see single, divorced and widowed people looking to heal from past relationships and/ or start a new relationship.
In session, we assess your strengths and weaknesses and use evidence-based exercises designed to restore friendship, trust and intimacy. Resources with frameworks and step by step action-based strategies are provided to guide both partners to developing skills of effective conflict resolution, building fondness and admiration and deeper active listening.
I see couples in every stage from dating to those married or living together. Proactively seeking to nourish already strong bonds may also be a goal. I aim to navigate relational complexities by equally listening to all sides and providing impartial guidance in a safe space.
