I am a Registered Psychologist and have the privilege of being BoD President of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA). I work with individuals (child/adolescent and adults) struggling with stress, dep/anx, anger, family and relationships, job tension, abuse and various other issues. My approach is integrative, tailored to suit the unique needs and goals of each person, and I use a trauma informed and culturally sensitive lens in therapy. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and provide a safe, judgement free environment. BIPOC and LGBTQIA2s+ clients are welcome. I am looking forward to working with you!
My training includes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I often use this approach to work with people who have encountered trauma and attachment injuries throughout their lives. I am also experienced in using the Gottman approach to help couples navigate difficulties and build up their relationships to be healthier and more fulfilling.
Trauma or hardship occur when we are pushed beyond our ability to cope. It can interfere with our relationships, school, work, and/or self-image and can keep us from joyful and fulfilling lives.
