I aim to work with you collaboratively to enable individuals to solve their social/emotional concerns. Over the years I’ve supported individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress management, coping skills, self harming behaviours, relationship issues and parent teen conflict. I understand stressors of life and how they may have an impact on individuals. Thus I seek to help individuals locate themselves in their daily situations, reflect and influence positive change.
I am a Clinical Registered Social Worker and has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I work from a strength base perspective and I’m trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I utilize CBT and DBT to help individuals to examine their thoughts to begin to create change.
On a daily basis I believe many of us experience life challenges that can cause disruption to our lives. I believe that helping clients to develop mindful coping skills to problem-solve will help enhance ones well-being. Thus, I seek to partner with individuals to realize their strengths so that one can regain control and tranquility over one’s life.
