Are you, or someone you know, not sure how to go on? Would you like to express things in a way that goes beyond words? Do you know that the arts welcome your emotions, however big or small they might be? If you are curious, why not give it a go? No feeling is too big to find room on a canvas, to be formed in clay, to bring into a movement, to be expressed in a sound, or to find order in a sand mandala.

Most people I see have no previous art experience and are surprised by the effect the arts can have on them. To feel more relaxed and seeing things from a new perspective is often the good start that leads to further exploration and discovery.

For young people art and play offer an effective and safe way to face, and then master, transform, and release the feelings they can neither express verbally nor ignore. Additionally, through interactions and stories new skills can be learned.
