About
Most people come to therapy because of facing difficult circumstances in life. More specifically, people are not feeling satisfied with how they react to their life problems, and their negative feelings when facing these problems. We react to current problems based on what we experienced in the past. Due to our own survival needs at the time of experience, unique ways were formed, which we continued to bring forward for future use, even if it does not match with our current challenges. My treatment goal is to help you realize the wrong ways, and to reorientate you to helpful ways.
Formerly working in funeral service and community outreach, I have spent over 10 years helping people in distress. I completed my Master in Counselling Psychology degree from Adler University, currently studying my Doctorate at Yorkville University. I currently work at EMC Therapy, which also consists of a child therapist, and a marriage/family therapist.
Besides regular therapy sessions, I also provide mindfulness therapy sessions for those who would like to learn more about mindfulness practice. Please feel free to contact me for inquiries or to book an appointment by email or phone, and I hope we could walk with you through your process of change.
