Are you ready to transform your life in a way that creates lasting healing?
I am an experienced Clinical Social Worker, Naturopath & Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) who combines traditional, alternative and complementary therapies including Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR).
Both SE and DBR are gentle, powerful & scientifically informed and aim to resolve the core symptoms of emotional pain, shock & trauma, including PTSD & other painful life events that include anxiety, depression, grief, developmental and attachment trauma, guilt, shame & physical pain at the level of the brain and nervous system.
My approach empowers individuals by teaching you how to connect to your own body's responses, fostering a sense of control over the healing process and how life events cause nervous system dysregulation, impacting your daily life when experiencing and reliving the painful survival patterns of - fight, flight, freeze, and fawn, known as the Polyvagal Theory.
These modalities offer the integration of unprocessed experiences and builds system capacity. Making it sought after by those who may feel tired or overwhelmed by traditional talk therapies that focus on re-telling and re-living traumatic memories. By relieving the visceral impact of trauma, these modalities reduces re-living the painfull distress.
