When dealing with challenges we can feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or feel a loss of purpose or spiritual connection. We may feel we are in a crisis, feeling hopeless and alone. Counselling can help clients who wish to gain insight into their lives, relationships or jobs, who wish to make a change, or process past trauma. I have 5 years experience as a Registered Clinical Counsellor.
My interest is helping clients with finding meaning and spiritual connection, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships. I use a culturally sensitive lens, building relationships with clients that are trusting, respectful, and caring. I help clients connect with their inner strength, promote personal growth, healing, self-determination and independence.
I use an integrative trauma-informed approach and evidence-based treatment. I have training in: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), DBT for PTSD, Lifespan Integration, Grief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Observed & Experiential Integration.
