Hi, I'm Lauren. I am a registered clinical counsellor with experience working with both youth and adults with a variety of different strengths and abilities. I work often with individuals facing anxiety, depression, body image dysmorphia, interpersonal conflict, and other related concerns. I am passionate about supporting others to build the skills necessary for the life they want. Perhaps you are facing a specific problem in your life; or, maybe you are feeling ready to work through something that has been weighing heavy for a while. I am trained in both dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I have worked with children and youth as a school counsellor, and also with adults, and groups within a clinical context. Whether as individuals or partnerships, I support client skill development to encourage meaningful change unique to the client's goals.

Groups
DBT Youth Group
Our DBT Youth Group is aimed to support youth between the ages of 12-18. The group runs over 4 60-minute virtual sessions, with each session focused on one of the four pillars of DBT: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Youth have the opportunity to stay connected between sessions through a youth chat with the clinician.
