Are you tired of getting caught in the same old patterns you’ve been trying so hard to break? Are you starting to recognize that your childhood wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, but aren’t sure where to go from here? Are you trying to raise your children differently than the way you were parented and noticing that this is a LOT easier said than done? I offer attachment-focussed and trauma-informed counselling to folks of all genders and orientations. I work with clients recovering from acute or complex trauma, including childhood abuse and neglect, and specialize in working with fellow members of the queer community.
Experiences in early relationships create a blueprint that informs our ability to build & enjoy healthy relationships in adulthood. Processing the impact of both our family of origin and larger social systems can help unlock our innate capacity to heal and build healthy, integrated, and authentic relationships – both with others and with ourselves.
