Hello! Thank you for perusing my profile. I am a registered psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. I am dedicated to supporting people through difficult times and circumstances. I have an open, non-judgemental demeanour and pride myself in my understanding of and passion for diversity. My areas of clinical expertise include anxiety, depression, grief, mindfulness, relationship difficulties, identity challenges, career orientation, work-related stress, and anger management, to name but a few examples.
I work primarily from a systemic perspective, where socio-cultural and contextual factors are examined in relationship to mental health and well-being. I also draw on people’s strength and resilience to help them achieve their desired goals. I provide services, in English and in French, to youth as well as adults.
I believe that human connection can be an extremely powerful means of healing and I have deep respect for people who take a chance and trust the therapeutic process. It is my privilege to welcome diverse clients to my practice and work with them in a collaborative manner to help them obtain relief from their distress, as rapidly as possible.
