I have twenty seven years experience providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups affected by trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, addictions, relationship difficulties, and personality style issues. I use a multimodal approach according to clients' needs, goals and preferences. The therapeutic modalities I practice include EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Therapeutic Enactment, expressive Arts, Narrative Therapy, Adlerian Psychology, CBT and DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Energy Psychology.
I provide brief and depth psychotherapy to help individuals and couples in the process of examining, understanding and resolving current and past issues that may keep them from moving forward, feeling stuck, depressed, anxious, confused, hopeless, disconnected or discouraged. I also facilitate Trauma / PTSD, Art, CBT and Addictions Recovery Groups.
I am a Clinical Supervisor and Instructor at Adler University, a Clinical Supervisor for Graduate Students and a Concurrent Disorders Counsellor at Vancouver Coastal Health. In my spare time, I practice Judo, dance Salsa, hike, make art, and I get involved in self growth and continuing education activities.
