Over 32 years as a professor, supervisor, researcher, and psychologist, I have come to believe in the power of a caring and reliable therapeutic relationship as a starting point for change. I help people who are dealing with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, infidelity, divorce, adult repercussions of childhood trauma, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, struggles with self-esteem, loneliness and isolation. I work with adults and accompany them through changes that are meaningful and profound. Together, we focus on two things: (1) Immediate attendance to symptoms of distress (2) Exploring patterns to promote life-altering changes. The ultimate goal is for clients to be in a state of inner peace, to experience pleasure, and have healthy ties.
Every person and situation is unique so the work of psychotherapy is tailored to reflect the essence of who you are in terms of feelings, needs, beliefs, past experiences, strengths, and objectives for growth.
