My three specialization are couples, individuals and families. I work to improve attachment and communication. We tackle those scripted cycles that can feel “stuck in a rut”. I use techniques and activities to deepen understanding and build intimacy. I work with a myriad of issues including trauma, addiction and burnout to name a few. I offer ways to help strengthen parenting skills in order to support children (Please note: I do not work alone with children). I work with adolescents with a focus on respect and strengthening skills for individuation. I hold a deep belief in supporting folks in finding resilience.
I offer a non-judgemental space, taking time to understand the nuances that come with the complexities of the human experience. My practice is LGBTQ+ friendly, kink-informed, well versed in ethical non monogamy and non-traditional family configurations. Cultural sensitivity and trauma informed care are foundational values in my work.
I practice systemically, highlighting external resources and approaches when appropriate. My eclectic style offers a variety of modalities so that the client can actively co-create a healing process that best suits their needs, I use a client centred approach believing clients are the experts of their own lives. This work is intended to be transformative.
