Are you struggling with anxiety or depression? Do you deal with ADHD, ASD, LD, or ODD? Is your child (10+) struggling with any of these concerns? Is your child transitioning from grade school to high school? Or high school to post-secondary? I deeply appreciate the opportunity to support people in learning about themselves, their strengths and ways to self-advocate for meeting their needs and goals. Working in special education has given me strategies and abilities to work with individuals addressing anxiety, school and peer-related issues, self-esteem, and executive functioning challenges.

In my work and personal life, I continue to learn about neurodivergence, including ADHD, ASD and LD, in addition to Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I am passionate about developing a safe environment built on trust, empathy, and understanding for children, teens and families to address their unique challenges and concerns.
My goal as a therapist is to support clients in recognizing their strengths and capacities and identifying areas where they can personally grow and achieve their goals and feelings of happiness and well-being. With 20 years of experience as a teacher, I have worked with parents and children, which has broadened my understanding and compassion.
