When individuals experience trauma or severe life stressors, it may become increasingly difficult to navigate day to day life. I ensure a safe space is cultivated by taking a person-centered approach; ensuring cultivation of a safe space through kindness, openness, empathy, and compassion. My greatest passion as a Clinician is to show how there is uniqueness and restoration in one's story, one's pain and collection of struggles.
I work from a Trauma-informed lens and combine a variety of evidence-based practices with holistic approaches. I believe in connecting with all aspects of self in the process of healing through acknowledging the mind, body, and soul. Through this approach, we can discover coping strategies that will produce resiliency and healing of the self.
I ensure that a safe space is not declared but cultivated through autonomy, compassion, empowerment and self-determination. Furthermore, I would like to offer a space that is non-judgmental and where resiliency is honoured. I respect your preference so I offer consultations via video or phone at no cost.
