I have been blessed to have worked many years in the counselling/healing field with individuals of all ages. I have specialized training in working with youth. I am quite comfortable working with single and complex trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and dissociation. I have been in the clinical field for 23 years and formally trained earning my Masters in Counselling Psychology in 2020.
One of the truths I have witnessed is that everyone is different. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
I believe the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist is essential to creating a safe space that fosters healing.
