About
It's time for you to restore your confidence, cope in healthier ways, enhance your sense of well-being and enjoy life again. If you're looking for a therapist, chances are you're hoping to make some changes in these or other areas. I will help empower you to learn new ways of dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, physical pain or other difficult emotions and make room for new ways of coping. Many of my clients struggle with being overly self-critical, have a hard time 'turning off' thoughts, feel overwhelmed and sometimes feel like they're just 'going through the motions'. Therapy can absolutely help you feel better again!
I am a Registered Psychotherapist/OT who has 22 years of experience. I run a private practice and am on faculty at U of T & The Centre for Mindfulness Studies (approved Mentor). I've developed an expertise in mindfulness-based interventions -> CBT, MBCT, MBCPM, DBT and ACT. My priority is the therapeutic rapport ensuring compassion, kindness & non-judgment.
It would be a true honour and privilege to work with you. My clients have told me that I am a very skilled, caring, non-judgmental and compassionate therapist. You will learn a whole new way of dealing with stress, unpleasant thoughts, emotions, and to relate to yourself with more compassion, confidence & acceptance. If it feels right, give me a call!
