Sometimes, our busy world can leave us feeling overwhelmed and worn out. Or, our past can keep us locked in patterns that we struggle to escape. No matter the issue, I believe that personal growth is an achievable option, and that we can find sustained healing from past wounds. In this journey, it is important to have support and connection. That is what I offer my clients in counselling – a connection with someone who has compassion and hope for each person embarking on a path to a more enjoyable and fulfilling life.
I am passionate about helping others navigate obstacles. I offer perspectives from not only training and education, but from lived experience with some of the challenges my clients face. I strive to respectfully guide clients in exploring their experiences while helping each person gain skills to manage thoughts and emotions that arise from that exploration.
During sessions, I use evidence-based methods such as mindfulness, CBT, DBT and compassion-focused strategies to create understanding and build pathways to change. If you are struggling with a partner or a family member, these skills can help build better relationships.
I look forward to being there with you as you foster meaningful growth in your life.
