My specialty is listening, assisting decision making and being a support. If you would like to make an action plan, change, create and follow through with goals, we can work together to make that happen. I provide individual and group counselling to build confidence, self-image, communication and friendship/social skills. I use the interventions of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, (CBT) to treat depression, anxiety, youth/parent relationships, ADHD, and stress by addressing thinking and by changing behaviours to support your life.
In person, online, or phone appointments to listen and support your concerns. Appointments for evenings and weekends are available. Daytime hours in the summer months.
I also draw upon mindfulness, narrative therapy, career/life counselling, breathing/ relaxation techniques and healing through art and creativity. I can provide ongoing supportive sessions, short term consulting, referral to other services, or figuring out how to navigate the system to get the support you need from the place that is best for you.
