I am a doctoral level psychologist with 14 years of clinical and research experience. I provide assessment, therapy, and consultation to help children, adolescents, and adults through academic, social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. By building a genuine and caring therapeutic relationship, I help clients adapt and grow when faced with challenges. I also guide my clients to tap into their strengths so that they can make the most comfortable choices in order to move forward. Along the way, we work together to create new strategies while modifying existing ones so that clients and their families will become more resilient.
My team and I also assess and treat individuals with developmental disabilities. This unique population may have mental health needs, which are often more concerning than the typical population. My specialized dual diagnosis training from Queen's University Department of Psychiatry allows me to effectively work with this population and their caregivers.
My many years as a supervising psychologist at a school board in the GTA has equipped me with an in-depth understanding of a child's classroom environment. At the same time, my role as a consultant at the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute of Ontario has allowed me to grow my practice with adults. My team of clinicians and I are ready to help you!
