In the beginning, my main goal is to understand - who you are, what has shaped you, and what you would like to get out of our sessions.
Whether it's just to talk about what you can't with anyone else or it's to work through a current crisis (burnout, job loss, divorce) or past trauma from childhood.
From there, we can work in connecting with and utilizing your abilities and talents. Sessions will also consist of developing effective coping strategies, and gently identifying patterns or obstacles in your way.
Every session will be engaging, collaborative and interactive while using evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I find a creative outlet of some kind can come a long way, especially in session. I offer each of my clients a safe space to welcome the parts of themselves that they may hide.
In our work together, you're the expert that knows yourself the best. I will ask questions without judgment and work to best understand what you'd like me to learn about yourself. I look forward to speaking!
