I specialize in helping people overcome anxiety, OCD, depression, and chronic stress. I have a warm and compassionate approach to counselling, and I am passionate about using practices that demonstrate, clarity, understanding, kindness, and growth.

As well, I consider myself a feminist counsellor which means I can help create opportunities in our sessions to examine how power shapes different areas of your life. I am passionate about integrating empowerment and consciousness raising into my therapeutic work.

Groups
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Learning how to practice mindfulness can help reduce stress, improve your relationships, develop resilience, and cultivate compassion for yourself and others. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) was founded 30 years ago, and is the gold standard for learning mindfulness meditation. The dates for the course are October 20th - December 8th, 2024. This course includes weekly 2.5 hour sessions on Sunday mornings including group meditations, mindful movement, discussions and teachings. There is a commitment to weekly attendance and home practice, with a full day retreat on November 24th. Please check out my website for more information!
