Welcome! I'm Andrea, and I provide counselling to youth and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions with specializations working with teens & perinatal mental health. I have a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, certification in reproductive mental health and birth trauma, and have worked extensively with youth and young adults. I'm also a human who has trudged through my own 'stuff', solidifying my knowing of connection and safety in therapy as the foundation of change. I work well with people who seek to explore their experiences openly, who are willing to reflect on their actions and responses.
I operate from a trauma-informed, humanistic, and strength-based approach and have experience supporting children, youth, and adults dealing with varying issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, loss, maternal mental health, substance use, and life transitions. The heart of what I do is based on connection.
