Welcome! I'm Andrea, and I provide counselling to youth and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions with specializations working with teens & perinatal mental health. I have a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, certification in reproductive mental health and birth trauma, and have worked extensively with youth and young adults. I'm also a human who has trudged through my own 'stuff', solidifying my knowing of connection and safety in therapy as the foundation of change. I work well with people who seek to explore their experiences openly, who are willing to reflect on their actions and responses.
I operate from a trauma-informed, humanistic, and strength-based approach and have experience supporting youth, and adults dealing with varying issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, loss, maternal mental health, substance use, and life transitions. I am EMDRIA certified in EMDR. The heart of what I do is based on connection.
