Counselling provides a safe space to work through aspects of your life that feel challenging. In my practice I have experience working with a diverse range of individuals with various challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, body image, and self-esteem. Working together, my goal is for you to feel supported in your journey while gaining insights into your present problems. In a session I will work collaboratively with you to better understand the root of your concerns and build a path forward. Our sessions may include processing the past, creating goals for the future, and discovering the present.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on various therapeutic theories and approaches including emotion focused therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and somatic therapy. A central focus of my work is helping to enhance mind-body connection, mindful awareness and nervous system regulation.
In counselling you have the opportunity to explore the many parts of yourself and how they show up and impact you in daily life. Our sessions are a conversation, guided by your life experiences, views and beliefs. I am grateful to do this work and hope to learn more about you and what brings you to reaching for support.
