Every person is unique as her/his circumstances differ. I believe one needs to feel understood before any changes can occur. I will be on your side and understand what you are going through. You will never feel judged, and together we will draw a plan to get you where you want to be. I support adults dealing with issues such as depression and anxiety, and dealing with major life changes. I help people cope with work-related life stressors, relationship/marriage breakdowns, and adjusting/planning the retirement phase. I am a seasoned therapist with experience in hospital, school board, family health team and private agencies.
I work with a variety of modalities to draw from in order for you to achieve your goals. I will explain and involve you in therapy so you will always feel in control. I believe that by empowering clients they regain the confidence needed to get better.
When you call for the first time , I anticipate that you will be a little nervous. It is only natural, normal and expected. Remember I am here to help you, I will do my best to make you feel at ease as we connect for the initial 15 m free meet and greet. I look forward to working with you to embark on a new path.
