Thank you for taking the time to learn more about what I can offer. With over 24 years in practice I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my career including community mental health centres, correctional facilities, residential treatment centres, emergency room and school settings working with children, teens & adults. I moved to Canada in 2008 from USA as part of the North American Fair Trade Agreement, to work in the area of Forensic Psychology. Many of my clients are open to working holistically and outside of the conventional talk therapy model with modalities such as yoga, breath work, music in therapy included.
I work specifically with Trauma, including first responders & military, as well as with OCD/anxiety disorders. I'm trained in numerous specialty therapy modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Reiki and more. These have been highly effective tools in facilitating therapeutic progress.
I explore a holistic approach of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing with my clients by integrating evidence-based practice with complimentary approaches to clinical experience to help you feel your best and live life to the fullest! Our current medical paradigm does not work for all and I am here to work with those more holistically.
