I’m a Registered Social Worker at Kellington Counselling who is passionate about supporting children and youth as they navigate life’s ups and downs. I believe that healing happens in safe, creative, and compassionate spaces, and I bring this belief into every counselling session. I use art and play based techniques to meet the child where they are at developmentally and to offer a unique alternative to talk-based approaches. I love working with kids who have experienced grief, loss, medical trauma, and those struggling with big emotions and behaviours. I welcome all children from age 3 and up!
In my work, I use art making and play to help children explore their needs, build coping skills, and discover new ways to move through challenges. I am trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and use this approach help clients build skills to reduce suffering and expand positive experiences. I have experience supporting children through grief & loss.
