Have you ever heard, “You don’t look autistic,” “You can’t have ADHD because...,”or other absurd comments? If so, I see you. If you’re seeking a neuroaffirming and trauma-informed counsellor to help navigate undiagnosed, misdiagnosed, or late diagnosed neurodivergence, struggles with identity, interpersonal relationships, motivation, procrastination, and burnout, let’s see if we vibe. My goal is to offer a space where you feel seen and supported, regardless of diagnosis. I am currently accepting some sliding scale and pro bono clients.
I am informed on the nuanced manifestation of high masking neurodivergence and understand the harm of misdiagnosis (BPD? MDD? GAD? SAD?), long-term masking, no diagnosis, and the disbelief from those around you. I can support brainstorming for surviving a neurotypical world as a neurodivergent human and hold space for the difficulty that comes along with it.
I am a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman with a diverse background, which means I bring my personal and professional experience to our sessions. I am comfortable with both neurotypical and neurodivergent styles of communication, and I am well-informed on disenfranchised grief, heteronormativity, chronic illness, ENM, kink, SW, and sexuality.
