I have extensive experience working with couples dealing with martial and relational issues. My systemic style of working with families helps build a strong bond between family members while exploring some potential root causes of discord. I also have a keen interest in working with parents on the many facets of parenting. Ranging from behaviour modification to raising children of character, integrity and respect. I also enjoy my work with individuals, starting from as young as 15 onward. I treat adjustment and mood disorders as well as anxiety, self-esteem, personal growth, stress/burnout, grief, and those dealing with separation and divorce.
My areas of specialization are relational issues such as communication, handling conflict, emotional disconnection and building healthy relationships. I also have extensive experience and interest in helping couples navigate through the hardship of infidelity and sorting through the emotional toll of separation/divorce.
I utilize a diverse approach in my therapy, drawing on such theories as Cognitive Behavioral, Interpersonal, Systems and Emotionally Focused Therapy. My diverse therapeutic approach helps me work with my clients in a way that suits them, while still relying on empirically supported treatment approaches.
