As a Registered Psychologist and Registered Play Therapist, I come with over ten years of experience working with children, youth, adults, and families. I offer both in person and virtual services from Stony Plain, AB and virtual services to the NWT. I have clinical/private, school-based, home, community and group home experience. Many of the children I work with present with trauma, attachment concerns, anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges and difficulties with regulation. Common concerns expressed from adults include stress management, life transitions, anxiety, depression, work-life balance and marital or family issues.
When working with clients of any age I draw from a number of theoretical orientations including but not limited to EMDR, IFS, cognitive behavioural therapy, and client centered as well as a number of play modalities with both directive and non-directive approaches when working with children and their families.
I provide expertise in psychoeducational assessments with evaluations in cognitive, academic, social, emotional, behavioural and adaptive functioning. I also offer supervision to provisional psychologists. I offer sessions in person as well as tele-psychology for adults and tele-play for children. Please feel free to email for further information.
