Hi! I'm Amy. I offer sex-positive, trauma-informed counselling to help you explore your desires and transform your sex life. I specialize in sex therapy, and work with clients in both BC and NS. I started my practice to help others increase authenticity, playfulness, and connection within their intimate relationships. I've helped hundreds of clients cultivate pleasure and nurture their erotic energy by examining and challenging the unhelpful beliefs and social messages that prevent them from embracing their desires. Together, we will co-create a relaxed, open space to honestly explore your questions, needs, and wants.
I use an interpersonal-attachment lens to understand our relational patterns and connection with others. I will integrate specialized interventions as appropriate, such as mindfulness and somatic exercises, to meet your unique needs and therapeutic goals. I may also share accurate, sex-positive resources and experiential 'homework' exercises.
I'm here to provide space for you to explore your sexual self. My approach is trauma-informed, sex-positive, 2S/LGBTQ+ affirming, poly & kink-friendly, and body-neutral. With me, you can expect thoughtful curiosity, compassion, warmth, and often humour! We don't have to take sex so seriously all the time - let's shift the focus back to pleasure and fun!
