We’re all just humans sharing an Earth, and that can be hard some days. Everyone faces a variety of challenges throughout life, and I tailor sessions to each individual’s needs. I work with clients ages 16+. I have a passion for walking alongside moms through the postpartum days (and beyond) and helping folks with anxiety, life transitions, and interpersonal relationships are also strong areas of interest for me. My practice is evidence based, and I utilize a structural, humanistic and strengths based approach and draw from frameworks such as CBT, narrative therapy, solutions focused therapy.
Welcome to ARC Counselling, my hope in meeting here is that it feels like a cozy space to connect - like meeting a friend for coffee :)
I believe you are the expert of your experience, and I serve as a support to meet you wherever you are in your journey. I’m passionate about creating a genuine therapeutic connection with my clients. I am compassionate, understanding, trustworthy and I find adding just a bit of humour to be the icing on the cake. (I also love a good metaphor or analogy too!)
Self acceptance, and feeling content with our lives is important. I try to help you find this by being genuine, compassionate and truly caring about the work we do together.
