Welcome to Therapy Heals! I have witnessed the positive impact that a non-judgmental, safe, and comfortable space can have for clients of all ages and life stages. I hold the belief that clients feeling they are listened to and empowered are key components within the change process; I have a very warm and empathetic approach to ensure this is felt by all clients. For the past 5+ years, I have been supporting children (5+), teens, caregivers (of children ages 0-18), and families; building upon their strengths to create the change that they wish to experience in their lives.
Throughout my career, I have become familiar with and used a combination of various therapy approaches such as: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Unified Protocol, Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Indigenous Theory, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness.
