I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Somatic work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based approaches and Play Therapy. I also incorporate inner child work for clients who are ready. A significant part of my work involves understanding the connection b/w the nervous system and emotion.
The people I work with are often high-achieving, deeply empathetic, and natural people-pleasers. They are brilliant at showing up for everyone else. They have spent years being told they were too sensitive, too much, or never quite enough.
I also have an interest working with children ADHD /gifted children who are misunderstood, struggling in systems.
