Hi, I’m Amber. I’m so glad you’re here! I am a counsellor dedicated to helping children and their families navigate life’s unique challenges and discover meaningful growth and healing. I take a person-centred, holistic approach to therapy, ensuring each client feels heard, empowered, and supported as they move toward their goals. If you or a loved one are looking for support with anxiety, depression, low-esteem, behavioural concerns, substances or trauma it looks like you have made it to the right place! While my main focus is supporting children & adolescents as young as 3 through theraplay, I also welcome and work with adults:)
My practice is trauma-informed, warm, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you and offer guidance as you navigate your healing journey. I am trained in and draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including Theraplay, CBT, Sand-Tray Based Therapy and Foundational Play Therapy skills.
I recognize that each persons healing journey is unique, as such, no single treatment plan or approach is applied the same way. Therapy is tailored to meet your needs, strengths, and goals. I believe the counselling relationship is foundational for meaningful change to occur, I am dedicated to creating a space where you feel valued, understood, and supported
