Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, out of control and messy. Events, relationships and things happen that prevent us from being free and living a gratifying life. You may come to therapy to address relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief or trauma. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that meets your unique goals. I'm committed to honouring the diversity of our human experience. As a trauma-informed therapist and immigrant from Cuba, I work with clients from all walks of life including newcomers to Canada and BIPOC populations. I approach this work with cultural humility and with the language of your choice.

In my work with individuals, couples and families, I gravitate towards multicultural, emotion focused therapy and family system theories. I draw from existential and attachment theories. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I offer body-oriented therapy to release symptoms of unprocessed trauma. Going deeper into spirituality is one of my passions.
