I use a holistic approach to counseling that incorporates the many components of a person's life such as the emotional, physical, social, cultural, spiritual, and occupational. I work with young adults, adults, seniors, and elders. I use Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual Model, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Strengths Based, Supportive Counselling, and Systems Theory. Areas of Practice include Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Life Transitions, Job Loss, Work Related Issues, Return to Work, Communication, Relationship Differences, Stress Management, Personal Growth, Sexuality and Coming Out, & Goal Setting.
I've had a successful private practice in North Delta since 2011 helping people find balance in their lives and move forward in a more healthy and supportive direction. I have helped people with expressing feelings, improving life satisfaction, developing a more positive outlook, reducing stress, & growing personally and professionally. I am a RCSW and RCC.
Free initial 15-minute telephone conversation. The services of a Registered Clinical Social Worker are GST exempt and tax-deductible with the Canada Revenue Agency. I also offer translation in Punjabi through the use of an interpreter. I am the recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal from the Governor-General of Canada for my social work in the community
