I have experience providing mental health support to both youth and adults related to a range of difficulties such as depression, anxiety, substance use and addictions, PTSD and trauma, emotional regulation, stress management, as well as more severe mental health symptoms and diagnosis such as psychosis, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, and also personality disorders such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD). I am a registered service provider with the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) and ICBC.
I use a trauma informed approach in my practice and am guided by evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).
